Truth needs no defense
Standing in it's place is our fitra, hence ..
You may cut me where it hurts most

But falsehood remains your host
My account is before Allah subhanahu wa'tala alone
What's worse than the lie upon another ...
Is the belief within oneself supporting, justifying slandering others
But the examples and the experience have been passed on
If Ayesha (radiullahu anha) was to bear such a trial, the reality of man lives on
It's disheartening no matter which angle I look at it
I shake my head and wonder how the soul of man can rest at night
How do you live with yourself, when you go against what's right?
I don't understand, nor do is there benefit in trying
My tests have come and I pray by His Mercy I keep standing
Searching for truth bears an ugly reality
Life of falsehood encompasses us as the majority walk blindly

May He the Most Merciful, Compassionate, All Knowing, All Aware, Mighty Lord, Master of All things, Ruler of the Day of Judgement.. MAY HE, Guide us to His Pleasure, make us among the truthful, forgive us for our wrongs, and allow to understand the true reality of life and our actions.... AMEEN, Ya Rabi.. AMEEN!!
"Do they think that they will be left alone on saying, 'We believe and that they will not be tested'? For sure we will test them as we have tested those who came before them, to show (them) the truthful of the honest and the liars in their falsehood."

Our Hearts are distracted- Abu Taubah

All Matters Return to HIM

It's not meant to be apparent by attire
The beloved Messenger (peace be upon him) wore those clothes
But it can't be seen a symbol of piety
In this day and age, it's only intention that will determine the faith behind it
'Submission' fears being worn on the sleeve, just to be seen
Can't claim to love if you don't choose to live
Anyone can rock a thobe or a kufi ; doesn't signify sincerity
The heart remains a mystery
But actions speak when tests draw out the weak
It's not for one to judge another
Hypocrisy isn't just a disease of our brother
In us may be the the same cover
Repentance is a step in the right direction
Cleansing the heart to commence the forming of a truthful relation
One with our Lord and all that He has prescribed
For us to LIVE ISLAM, for us to abide
There's no pleasure in disobedience
The heart feels it when shaytaan gets near him
I can't get past this feeling
That I really don't know the condition of any being
Looking but what am I suppose to be seeing?
There's no safe pattern
It seems though, that a believer makes truth happen ...
I've yet to determine how
The reality remains that the decision isn't mine anyway
All matters are Decided by Him, I submit and pray it's comfort and truth , one Pleasing to Him that comes my way

And be not like those who forgot Allah (i.e. became disobedient to Allah) and He caused them to forget their ownselves, (let them to forget to do righteous deeds). Those are the Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah)

Like it or Not!

My sisters I write this because I keep hearing the same riff
I'm going to say it as it is, so please take a breath in the name of understanding and not emotional standings
Many sisters start to trip when their man says .. "hey I'm looking ..."
"Looking?" she says, as though she doesn't quite know
"Yes, looking for number two!" he replies as though it's was in scripted in their lives
She's taken a back and it starts ...
Wife number one thinks she's not good enough
Wife number two thinks she's his dream come true
Perhaps you didn't know this so let me clarify ...
If he could'a married all four at once he would have
If he could go past four you better believe he'd try
It's not because he's a "dog" like society likes to say
It's the nature of man, God just made him this way
Just as a woman, we can't help to feel a pinch of jealousy
We're a lioness defending our territory
But the truth remains we're created to comfort and console
Not to dictate and control
The Laws have been laid
He gets up to four, and each should be paid
Paid in equality; shelter, clothes, food; the bare necessities
For a man if he really saw to the needs of his woman/women, there would be little room for insecurity
Somewhere it all got messed up...
He decided she'll work nine to five, pants and scarf that will have to be modest enough and that it's fair her rights she gives up
But for him, it's a matter of sin and so he asks that she toughens up
Justice is prescribed upon us all
Look within yourself before you all decide it's worth another family brawl
Success at its best is being selfless in nature
If everyone just decided they'd be concerned sincerely for each others akhira
If they both made it about their duty before their Lord
It would all be in sync
No one would feel disloyalty, no one would be hurt for they understand their unity....
All bases would be covered
Just the three of them or maybe five ... they'll work it all out with their Iman burning high!
Why choose to give it all up?
There's Shirk in loving beyond what Allah has chosen for us
Polgyny is our belief and we are obliged to submit
Not through an ultimatum for our hearts are known to Him
No man is worth giving up your place in the akhira, for the home of the rebellious is the heat of His Promise
Submit, so He will admit
And forget not your worth, for no woman will be the same as you no matter how you cut it up, he'll love and respect your loyal support more than any extra comfort!
Don't consider it competition, this is our way, our complete submission

Polygny is a concept that has existed and still exists in other cultures and religions before the advent of Islam. The only difference is Islam sets limits and rights for the women invovled.

Don't be a hater just 'cause your ego feels threatened........ just keeping it real!
'Abdullah reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: It is obligatory for you to tell the truth, for truth leads to virtue and virtue leads to Paradise, and the man who continues to speak the truth and endeavours to tell the truth is eventually recorded as truthful with Allah, and beware of telling of a lie for telling of a lie leads to obscenity and obscenity leads to Hell-Fire, and the person who keeps telling lies and endeavours to tell a lie is recorded as a liar with Allah.

. . . ?

Count your blessings before they're all gone, stressing ain't worth having when it's all in the name of "fun". Forced to look deeper for the reality of life has stung. Where does the path of success lead; we question yet we've have not even begun. Driving in random directions; to our lowly desires we have succumb. The beat of the the beast within; echoing on our tongues. The theft of a thief in bright daylight; our dignity is numb. Robbed and rapped by a chosen fate, stripped by our inability or desire to equip. Or maybe the times are such where we're just all "whipped". Controlled masses, dancing like dervish training classes. In a state of hypnosis, no one seeing how we're on the cold shift, the last bit, frozen by past occurrences we're an ice stick. Every sin that existed we're holdin', yet we think we're rolling. Yelling "I've got the right *beep* ". Never mind vulgar it's a heart in contempt, arrogance its friend. Deception lies in the lives we call free, yet chained by our own lack of integrity or sincerity. Honor and dignity, basic morals and principals a concept only known as piety, a choice made only when in dire need.Maybe, if we can rise above our greed? How did we come to bleed such an evil existence? How do we sleep when we're harvesting our own resistance? Pray hard for we're losing the purpose of our existence......

The difference between a man and a woman..

A man will start something but often doesn't know how to finish....

... a woman on the other hand may appear to finish but never quite stop

So men if you ever give your woman a gift then make sure it's a complete package with love, meaning and HER in mind. Women, when you accept the gift then finish it by appreciating and stop there. Do not continue and go on about about how it wasn't finished right (ie. no thought, odd show of love, or lack of HER in mind [too much of HIM in the gift])

Age of Entitlement...

I really dislike the phrases "I'mah get mine" or "get yours"
What made you entitled to anything?
Haven't you realized nothing belongs to you ?
It all belongs to the Almighty
So while you're "getting yours" you're neglecting your core; your duty out the door
You ain't entitled to heaven
Just 'cause you say you believe, doesn't mean you earned your seat
The seeker will be granted what it's after
You'll regret how "yours" got you locked out of a blissful hereafter
It's not about getting what you THINK you deserve
It's about striving, about keeping your duty, understanding your responsibility
Begging and pleading for His Mercy, while purifying yourself for your soul's eternity
The reality is we've been brained washed
And what is, isn't actually reality
So we continue thinking that we're making it while maintaining our piety
Got rap songs singing our emotions
When it's feeding us poisons
Man's destruction comes from his own greed
Not satisfied even if he's roofed, clothed and harvesting obesity's seed
Gifted with education and riches of a '1st World Nation'
Yet he's still pushing to "get his"
............the age of entitlement
cash flow moves all around me ..........
Greeeeed, got the betta of me
I'mah chase it even if I lose my own dignity
I gotta get my mines foo', cause that what I was taught
"Dolla dolla billz y'all...........it's hell I bought, for the life of this world I fought.........now I rot....
.
..........tsssssssss...........

You can't find love nor buy love
It isn't in an instant spark - it is only gifted from above
The reality is true love is not an emotion, it's a state of mind
You can only develop it when you understand it
Understanding can only be established with time
For memories of moments aren't enough to form an inscription
It takes trial and sincere sacrificing to earn such a lofty position
If love were to be reached merely by a greeting
We'd find little animosity or hurting
That's only a characteristic of heaven; a blissful eternal abode
Of which "peace be upon you" is exclaimed with affection, with a sincere hold
Love seems to be that ever sought after commodity
Everyone in search of "love" through some type of "click" reaction
How'd that ever work out? It takes a soul content in a state of satisfaction
Boils down to true appreciation
Controlled by ethics and values of our creation
Find one that speaks to your soul by their role
Deal with their shortcomings by reminding yourself of the goodness they hold
For no being is perfect
Their perfection lies in the realization that that's how they're created
Point being is, flaws we all have ... that's inevitable
As long as your soul isn't constantly fighting to stay whole
You've got yourself a time precious pearl forming into gold...

Money doesn't talk ... it just whines

At what point did we get it all so confused?
Instead of money being a source of assistance
It has become a source of our existence
What would be the sense in creating for the purpose of maintaining?
Surely our purpose isn't to secure such a temporary fortress?
There has to be more to this....
Yet we run in rings chasing our tails
Making an effort yet we continue to fail
For our duty and our mission remains simply through Submission
To Him who Created us from dust, said "BE" and it is
The One Alone, not in need anything, Aware of everything
But still this knowledge, this truth, some how keeps getting twisted
The whispers that are whispered keep enticing us to invest in our lusts
Foolish enough even when God PROMISES an increase we plan our own decrease
Just doesn't make any sense
Wealth is gifted not attained
Wealth is released for purpose in due measure to ensure we are saved
Tested through the dollar or lack of;  just means we need to let go and submit
Does it really matter? If He Provides what's all the clatter?
Our role remains that we make an effort our goal proclaims that we rely solely on He who is Perfect

"Do they not know that Allah enlarges the provision for whom He wills, and straitens it (for whom He wills). Verily, in this are signs for the folk who believe!" Quran 39:52

It's gotta go back to basics
Take it all off, drop it all down
Quit the races
It's rooted in you; with pure intentions guidance is found
People after one another
Nit picking, thumb flicking, air stinking
It's an open mouth, in a drought
Trying to be replenished but you've got your thoughts caught with the devil
Trying to understand, truth in your effort reflects your stance
And it all goes back down to basics
Every question, every reply will come from simplicity , with a tear in your eye
It's really all that simple
But the devil takes his seat upon every lying victim
That's our social standing we're all caught up in the corrupt system
Morality lost , ethics comes last and our understanding of life and death is mismatched
Trying to balance this extreme perception
So even at our finest we're weakened in our own deception
We excuse our stagnation
Blame our inability to keep up with our natural inclination
Shame over shameless ...
Need I remind us
Social change remains a reflection
If we don't have it right inside it's gonna be tight outside
But we won't ever piece the puzzle
Until we realize the basics rule our lives
And if we just focus our energy on correcting and implementing truth will be clear and will easily turn away the stench of falsehood as it's fermenting
....... yah, there I go venting ..
-------------
On the authority of Aboo `Abdillaah an-Nu`maan the son of Basheer (radiAllaahu 'anhumaa), who said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) say:

That which is lawful is clear and that which is unlawful is clear, and between the two of them are doubtful matters about which many people do not know. Thus he who avoids doubtful matters clears himself in regard to his religion and his honour, but he who falls into doubtful matters [eventually] falls into that which is unlawful, like the shepherd who pastures around a sanctuary, all but grazing therein. Truly every king has a sanctuary, and truly Allaah's sanctuary is His prohibitions. Truly in the body there is a morsel of flesh, which, if it be whole, all the body is whole, and which, if it is diseased, all of [the body] is diseased. Truly, it is the heart.

The Command to shun Shirk and lying -Ibn Kathir

Quran 22:30 That and whoever honors the sacred things of Allah, then that is better for him with his Lord. The cattle are lawful to you, except those (that will be) mentioned to you. So shun the Rijs of the idols, and shun false speech.

The Command to shun Shirk and Lying
Allah says:

So shun the Rijis of the idols, and shun false speech.
From this it is clear what Ar-Rijs means, i.e., avoid the abomination, which means idols. Shirk is mentioned in conjunction with false speech, as in the Ayah:

Say: "(But) the things that my Lord has indeed forbidden are;
  • Al-Fawahish (immoral sins) whether committed openly or secretly,
  • sins (of all kinds),
  • unrighteous oppression,
  • joining partners with Allah for which He has given no authority, and
  • saying things about Allah of which you have no knowledge''. (7:33)
This includes bearing false witness.
In the Two Sahihs it was reported from Abu Bakrah that the Messenger of Allah said:
أَ
Shall I not tell you about the worst of major sins?
We said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah.''
He said: Associating others with Allah, disobeying one's parents.
He was reclining, then he sat up and said: and indeed giving false statements, and indeed bearing false witness...
and he kept on repeating it until we wished that he would stop.''
Imam Ahmad recorded that Khuraym bin Fatik Al-Asadi said,
"The Messenger of Allah prayed As-Subh (Al-Fajr), and when he had finished, he stood up and said:

Bearing false witness is on a par with the association of others with Allah.
Then he recited this Ayah: ...
So shun the Rijs of the idols, and shun lying speech. Hunafa' Lillah, not associating partners unto Him;
Allah says:

Hunafa' Lillah,
means, sincerely submitting to Him Alone, shunning falsehood and seeking the truth.
Allah says: not associating partners unto Him;
Then Allah gives a likeness of the idolator in his misguidance and being doomed and being far away from true guidance, and says: and whoever assigns partners to Allah, it is as if he had fallen from the sky,
meaning, the birds caught him in midair, for the wind had thrown him to a far off place.
means, remote and desolate, dangerous for anyone who lands there.

Hence it says in the Hadith of Al-Bara':
When the angels of death take the soul of the disbeliever in death, they take his soul up to the heaven, but the gates of heaven are not opened for him; on the contrary, his soul is thrown down from there.
Then he recited this Ayah.
The Hadith has already been quoted in our explanation of Surah Ibrahim.
Allah gives another parable of the idolators in Surah Al-An`am, where He says:

Say:
"Shall we invoke others besides Allah, that can do us neither good nor can harm us, and shall we turn back on our heels after Allah has guided us -- like one whom the Shayatin have made to go astray in the land in confusion, his companions calling him to guidance (saying): `Come to us.'''
Say: "Verily, Allah's guidance is the only guidance.'' (6:71)

Exaggerated State

How did exaggeration become so day-to-day?
I catch myself doing it, embedded into our daily speech
The phrases we say, like "I've done it a million times today?"
Really? No, not literally but that's how it ends up to be
What is, isn't actuality
Even within our own being it's a hard catch to see
How did truth get distorted so dangerously
Where we've said it so many times we're convinced it's part of our reality
Like, "I'm trying my best..."
Oh yah ...
If that's the case then you fail in patience for you just complained
For "my best" becomes an excuse; exaggerated and strained
Yet for some reason we're convinced
That amidst our test we should raise our flags and give up
The battle internally rages, it's fire fumes in stages
And instead of humbling ourselves we become engulfed in fluff
The fuzzy-ness that we choose to describe our state of mind
The exaggerated phrases and over the top lines
Keep us mentally deluded or in stress arrogance can find
I suffer no less than the rest in my confusion
Steps to reform I've been told come from acknowledgment and confession
Corrections greatest enemy is the concept of realization
So I question....... how did our speech become so loose?
Where did we come up with the phrases we use?
Does it reflect a reality or is it just what society will approve?
.........I question, come walk with me in this mental concession

Lunar Eclipse

During the Jaahiliyyah, people used to believe that eclipses happened to mark the birth or death of a great person, but the Messenger of Allaah SAWS (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) declared this belief to be false and explained the divine wisdom behind the occurrence of eclipses:

Imaam al-Bukhaari and Muslim narrated that Ibn Mas’ood al-Ansaari said: “the sun was eclipsed the day Ibraaheem the son of the Messenger of Allaah SAWS (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) died, and the people said, ‘The sun is eclipsed because of the death of Ibraaheem.’ The Messenger of Allaah SAWS (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘The sun and the moon are two signs from Allaah, and they do not become eclipsed for the death or the birth of anyone. If you see that, hasten to remember Allaah and to pray.’”

----
Allaah causes eclipses to happen to these two mighty signs, the sun and the moon, to teach His slaves and show them that these things are created and are subject to imperfections and changes just like any other created entities. Thus He shows them His perfect ability and that He alone is deserving of worship, as Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And from among His Signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Prostrate yourselves not to the sun” nor to the moon, but prostrate yourselves to Allaah Who created them, if you (really) worship Him”

(Fussilat 41:37)

“It is He Who made the sun a shining thing and the moon as a light and measured out for it stages that you might know the number of years and the reckoning. Allaah did not create this but in truth. He explains the Ayaat in detail for people who have knowledge.” [Yoonus 10:5]

I just want a simple man that wants Jannah
Truly, sincerely loves the truth and holds it down like a solja'
I'm tired of all 'em jokers
Bearded or not
Whethre it's a thobe and a kufi you rock
Doesn't mean you love the deen
It just means you love the clean that you're in
And I can't seem to judge it
Where's the middle line in all of it?
I'm not talking about perfection by no means am I that selection
I'm just talking about sincere
I really do wanna make it there
I need him that's struggling and not constantly trying to find loop holes
Trying to use the religion to justify lowly desires, poor decisions, or a weak role
I don't need that
Just straight goods - keep it real - strive 'til death makes you alive
It takes dedication and hard work to make anything work
But you gotta be true to the cause otherwise you're another clause
There's this fine print I seem to always miss
The one that says I come before anyone else, ya hear me miss?
Yah I'm hearing you, another " I - own , I - matter, I - don't care as long I got what I need, I - I - I "
I'M TIRED OF IT!
The selfish putting claim as the righteous
Haven't you heard..?
....   "So keep your duty to Allah and fear Him as much as you can; listen and obey; and spend in charity, that is better for yourselves. And whosoever is saved from his own covetousness, then they are the successful ones." (Quran 64-16)
I'm a lil militant in my thinking
That doesn't mean I'm down with killing
Though I don't support the bully's beating
And suggest you abort the mentality by rising above his insecurity ..

I'm actually talking about the concept of our Owner
If we understand our position in relation to the Creator
We'll learn to understand, "I hear and obey"
Not neglecting the lil things
For the Pleasure of Creator is only to be attained by submitting to His Commands
And by that it means if your tie is silk you need to use it for your curtain instead of your noose
If your abaya is tight you need to get a new size that's loose
If your money is right you gotta let it go and purify
If your can't afford to be ballin' you better take a step back and give the bank a slap
If you wanna be living right the only solution is to fight the fight
Weapons are knowledge used to increase in good deeds, with righteousness in sight
Losers are us that choose to submit to the pressure of society
Who are we trying please? Let's correct the mentality
Freedom is in submission
And submission is understanding the relation between creation to His Master
Owner of all, we beg of your Mercy, in prostration we fall....
Ya Allah Forgive us all.. Ameen!

The Great Deception

Instead of saying "I'm lazy" we say "I'm busy"
Instead of saying "I'm broke" we say "I'm simple"
Instead of saying "I'm sorry" we say "It wasn't me!"
Instead of saying "I'm fat" we say "I'm curvy or thick"
Instead of saying "I'm weak" we say "Life is short, live it up"
Instead of saying "I'm selfish" we say "It's my life"
Instead of counting our blessing we say "Why is God trying to punish me?"
Instead of aiming towards bettering ourselves we say "I am who I am"
Instead of speaking the truth we say "I'm using discretion for the GREATER good"
Instead of rising to the test we say "Life is hard, I'm depressed"
Instead of controlling our tongue we say "I'm independent, I have my own opinions"
Instead of not being wasteful with our money we say "It's mine, I can do what I want"
Instead of upholding our responsibilities we say "hey it's more than I had"
Instead of looking at our own faults we say "did you see what such and such did?"
Instead of admitting our wrongs we say "you don't understand"
Instead of being happy we say "if only I had ..."
Instead of building lives we're breaking down ourselves
The deception lies within us first regardless of how religious we look, how often we pray, or how much people like us
If we don't learn to confess to the reality of our state
We'll be left dumbfounded by the promise of our eternal resting place
It starts now
It starts with our self
It stays there and the rest will come; clear and sincere (Insha'Allah)

Truth and Justice they go hand in hand
The weapon of a warrior
Obeys on command
By righteousness does he stand
Upright, even if it be against himself
Steadfast in patience, encompassed by true wealth
"Who is it that could be an army for you to aid you other than the Most Merciful?" (Quran - 67:20)
I implore you to question the purpose of creation
Step first by internal investigation
Time is ticking
Minds are sticking
Know maintaining truth and justice is part of the test
It's not just bowing your head but upholding what's best
Fear none but the One Witnessing
You are the witnessed
Stay steadfast and be blessed! (Insha'Allah)

Pray Hard!! *

Don't sell your soul to the devil - you need not
God will Provide, but you forgot
No need to doubt that!
Worshipping the ideas of social standing, how is that?
Don't lower your standard to thinking success if found in that
You got gold don't turn it in for what fools hold
Turn your mind back to Him and do as you're told
Don't be a coward to your soul
Times are getting harder, we're slippin' unless we keep it tight like coal
Burn our flesh but we remain whole
Worship He Alone and forgo the chase ; it's a hard roll
I feel the tension when I see what society has chose
I try to keep it real but it's hard knowing where this trial goes
Pray for my progeny and my own soul to know
Dear God, All Power and Might belong to you Alone
Make us firm, for I know we ain't got the strength to get through this even full grown
It's a struggle to see truth from lie
To stand up against what most question, "why?"
Livin' in times foretold; I'm feeling it
My heart is shook, I'm seeing it
I'm afraid I may overlook
O' Master, The One, make us firm, teach us, strengthen us by Your Book
Don't let us sell our soul to devil
Who has us worshipping ideas or making moves that are only socially driven
Keep it real, pray hard, these times are a given ...

My Sweettooth

You get the box mix
And you get the 'made from scratch' fix
One's about quantity
The other is about quality
I'm looking for the 'original recipe' type
Not the made from a box hype
At first glance and at first taste they both seem fine
But after some time ...
You get a taste of fake in the 'ready made' make
It's not about the icing or the sprinkles
'Cause when it rains that's the first that disappears
It's gotta be made with the right substance for it to remain as it appears
The one worth your while will be known at first bite
But it'll only allow a select few; the committed within its right
It's about integrity and standard
It's about it's natural purpose vs fast and worthless
One is after truth and the other is after attention
I'm after the one with sincere dedication
The most expensive and the best of it's kind
Is a tasty and finely crafted find
That's the type I'm looking for ; the rare score
That I'm willing greet it's worth with my core
Beautiful to me
For the truth within it, is all I'll see!

Anyone who complains about the test life has brought
Has done themselves two wrongs . . .
They've lost the lesson the test has taught
And they've lost the blessings meant to be sought
There's no other opportunity in life to grow the way you grow through a test
It's hard road is designed to make us our best
There's this incredible beauty behind it
Such as, our capacity is known to Him Alone, although many times we choose to deny it
Yet in it's midst we're humbled to realize
Where our priorities truly lie
Sometimes it takes hypocrisy within to break us, before it is able to make us
Other times we can clearly recognize the signs and rise against the dust
Often when the wind blows over and we catch a glimpse of our reflection
We find ourselves staring back at a different state of creation
If we understood patience is enjoining good regardless of the emotions attached
Then we're staring back at a polished diamond, cleansed, without any scratch
If we choose to take what appears the easy way out, where whispers and emotions dictate our road
Then we're staring back at a diamond discolouring, losing it's clarity; it's value no longer does it hold
At the end of the day, if you choose to to contemplate you'll realize where the benefit lies
And you'll force yourself to submit and sincerely try
..... There's good in all, just keep your cup half full
At some point in life every being will fall
The point is to turn back to Him, Who Controls all
He Knows despite what others say
He's got you covered - make today, a new day!

SEEKING REFUGE FROM EVILS AS-SAHEEHAH (no. 3137):

Imaam at-Tabaraanee reported in „ad-Du`aa·‟ (3/1425/1339) from a hadeeth of Aboo Hurairah -
radiyallaahu 'anhu - who said:

"From his  supplications was:

[O Allaah! I seek Your refuge from having an evil neighbour, and from having a wife who turns my hair grey before the time of grey hair, and from having a child who is a lord over me, and from wealth which becomes a punishment upon me, and from having a close friend who is deceitful: whose eye watches me and his heart is mindful of me: such that if he sees something good from me he conceals it, and if he sees something evil from me he broadcasts it.]"

[Shaikh al-Albaanee -rahimahullaah- said: "This chain of narration is good..."]

Quote of the week:

"In spite of the difficulities that "may" occur in the path of loving one another, love does not hurt". "Love is not painful, deceitful or manipulative"!

It's to me I speak

It's really hard to reach your potential
Without the support of a righteous, loving individual
Normally that entails your spouse
For they are aware of your weaknesses and your bouts
They're able to refute your retort
Before you become blameworthy for magnifying your worth
It's that time where we're barely making it
If we look deep we'd probably recognize that most of the time we're faking it
It a struggle to stay sincere, for the path of light is being blurred by our own darkness
Our own weakness
Where we succumb to the mentalities around us
And though it doesn't feel like it should be our fault, it really is
We've got guidance, but we're too selfish to acknowledge the truth
I speak to myself before I speak to you
I know I NEED to do better but I've got every excuse
Complaining instead of maintaining, whining instead of timing
It's no one to blame but ourselves
It's no one to fix but ourselves
Its start is from within and stays that way
If our focus drifts our hearts will sway
The message spreads like wild fire when the inside is not a liar
It's the toughest battle to be beat
An upright condition of our hearts we need to seek

.......... It's to me I speak
     .......... It's to me I speak

What's your objective?

What's your objective I wish you'd say
Understand your thoughts, I encourage you not to delay
We live wandering unsure of our moves
There's no point in doing it, if you don't know why you do what you do

So ask yourself, every 'lil while
What's the objective?
What am I trying to achieve , what I am I hoping to receive?
It's crucial that we keep ourselves in check
Everyday needs to be a day to reflect
If we don't, we leave an open door for Shaytaan to whisper
He's an open enemy to the believer
If you deny this reality you're denying the truth from the All Seer
Protect your heart and home from the evil creeper
Know your mind and purify your heart
"Successful is he who purifies himself" (1)
The Quran speaks wisdom; let's apply to self
"Woe to he who recites but does not contemplate" (2)
Even the Prophets used to meditate
We need to learn to condition ourselves to be reflective
So, I ask again... what's your objective?
---------------------------------------------

(1)
Indeed whosoever purifies himself shall achieve success" ( Quran 87:14)

(2)
Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding.

Those who remember Allah (always, and in prayers) standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and think deeply about the creation of the heavens and the earth, (saying): "Our Lord! You have not created (all) this without purpose, glory to You! (Exalted be You above all that they associate with You as partners). Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire.

Surah al-Imran: 190-191

The below is extracted from ibn Katheer's tafseer of the above ayah.

وقال الحسن عن عامر بن عبد قيس، قال: سمعت غير واحد ولا اثنين ولا ثلاثة من أصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقولون: إن ضياء الإيمان أو نور الإيمان التفكر

Aamir ibn Abd Qais stated," I heard more than one, two or three of the Companions of the Prophet (SAW) say, "The lamp of faith or the light of faith is al-tafakkur (contemplation and reflection.)

Ibn Marduwyah recorded that `Ata' said, "I, Ibn `Umar and `Ubayd bin `Umayr went to `A'ishah and entered her room, and there was a screen between us and her. She said, `O `Ubayd! What prevents you from visiting us'

He said, `What the poet said, `Visit every once in a while, and you will be loved more.' Ibn `Umar said, `Tell us about the most unusual thing you witnessed from the Messenger of Allah .' She cried and said, `All his matters were amazing. On night, he came close to me until his skin touched my skin and said, `Let me worship my Lord.' I said, `By Allah I love your being close to me. I also love that you worship your Lord.' He used the water-skin and performed ablution, but did not use too much water. He then stood up in prayer and cried until his beard became wet. He prostrated and cried until he made the ground wet. He then laid down on his side and cried. When Bilal came to alert the Prophet for the Dawn prayer, he said, `O Messenger of Allah! What makes you cry, while Allah has forgiven you your previous and latter sins' He said,

«وَيْحَكَ يَا بِلَالُ، وَمَا يَمْنَعُنِي أَنْ أَبْكِيَ، وَقَدْ أُنْزِلَ عَلَيَّ فِي هذِهِ اللَّيْلَة»

(O Bilal! What prevents me from crying, when this night, this Ayah was revealed to me,)

(Verily, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding.)

«وَيْلٌ لِمَنْ قَرَأَهَا وَلَمْ يَتَفَكَّرْ فِيهَا»

(Woe to he who recites it but does not contemplate it.).''

Ah how I miss you
The greenery of your warm embrace
The sweet smell upon your every resting place
The time we kicked it together
In the company of the likes of each other
No animosity or hatred
In truth we were bound together, submitted; it was sacred
How I miss you..
Your beauty none can surpass
The comfort and peace that no amount of wealth can ever amass
I know we aren't meant to be separated for so long
I know we'll be united again; in your warmth I belong
It's going to take an effort or I'd risk losing out on the opportunity
Prayers, charity, duty - submitting, faithful and willing
Seeking the reward of the All Knowing
How I miss you
My first home ... P-A-R-A-D-I-S-E pray for my return
Your perfection, your Promise of Allah's Protection ; you, how I yearn!

I got burned enough times to start feelin' heat before the fire
I heard enough lies to start sensing the tongue from the unsuspected liar
I fallen one too many times to put my trust in any other than my Protector
I've seen how falsehood destroys to come to cherish and love truth
I've watched how selfish deploys to come to resent its abuse
But despite all life has taught
And that knowledge is experience before it's sought
I realize that my confidence is a disguise
And in trying to let go, the more I don't know
My mind rests, assured, and knowing
That I know nothing of anything
Truly learning the beauty of placing my trust in Him
Trying, though not free from faulting
Submitting, though ever in need of Forgiving

If you ask me my standing know that I am a ...

Servant of my Master
Laborer for my children
Queen of my thoughts
Owner of nothing
Stranger to the world
Solider for the hereafter
Shield for my soul
Dagger for my heart
Controlled by He Alone
In His Name I begin, in His name I part (Insha'Allah)

It's Not Enough!

It's not enough to love it if you don't hate the reverse of it ...

I'm not talking about the people for we are all ever changing
I'm talking about values, their worth is never degressing
You can't claim to love honesty and not want know the truth
You can't claim to love integrity and be one to let loose
You can't claim to love consideration when you're selfish in your relations
You can't claim to love modesty when your actions are in arrogance

It's not enough to hate if you don't love the reverse of it ...

I'm not talking about the people for we are all ever changing
I'm talking about honor, it's value established at our hardest hour
You can't claim to hate slander when you choose to do it in your anger
You can't claim to hate showing off when you choose to do it when people scoff
You can't claim to hate anger when you choose release for a false sense of power
You can't claim to hate a liar when you use it to justify actions or avoid your self inflicted fire(s)

It's the hypocrisy within us all; that constantly needs to be checked. We aren't void of error but our wrongs aren't justified by blaming one another. It's upon us to dig within us, and go deeper. Correct our wrongs and not allow lessons in life to break us but make us stronger! Insha'Allah

Everything in life has a lesson ...

Don't allow another to justify their disrespect towards you by acting in a similar manner or worse. Rise above and teach the ignorant through kindness. Or turn away and ignore the arrogant with dignity.

We were raised with the ideal even if we came from a home which wasn't that. Hard lessons teach us to keep it real, even though society is still chasing after that. I've learned to understand that even if I bought the whole world I cannot make the wrongs inflicted upon the wronged right. I cannot fix the mistakes that leave others in a difficult place, because I am not the one in control. At one point I thought I could at least try to make it better, attempt for the "next best thing" but this I also realized isn't in firm standing. Just as you cannot make a wolf eat a flower instead of the little rabbit shivering beneath it's power, you cannot make the blind see his reflection or the deaf hear his voice.....it's not in my control. For some reason I was born with this fire to make right what seems wrong, this yearning desire that if I try, if I really really try it'll be alright. But ...it's not in my control. What might appear good may not be and so really I don't own true reality, I just submit knowing the All Knowing is taking care of me. My duty is where I land, if I'm pardoned early for death to take my hand, I welcome that stand provided HE is Pleased with me. At one point I wasn't sure if I'd like to go Home, leaving behind those that I thought I own. Though I carried them for 9 months and a scar remains forever upon me they remain a duty. And so when I'm called back to the Almighty, I know they'll be safe, and He'll appoint for them a better place even if it isn't the ideal. And it'd be a lie if I said that I'd cry from my depth if they parted from me to a blissful eternity because that's a dream come true. That's the objective to have my babies for eternity, peacefully, so what's the true reality of the love of a mother? And if God willed for them to die later, I pray it's only to increase them in honor. The ideal of being the sole source of joy or affection to one man, is not even up for discussion. The concept is beyond me now, I don't even see how that can be ideal even in fiction it remains a contradiction. But I remain with the reality of my duty, so yes a single mother I'll always be. There's no making that "right" or fixing the wrong, it's just strength God will send down (Insha'Allah). Though I have a lot to learn in this vast world, the touch of knowledge that has caressed me is one that I hold on to firmly. I've held enough doors open to know a woman is her own Queen. I've let go of enough friendships to know that by attaching yourself you'll only suffer the glitch. I've thrown enough fits and spoken enough words to know that I don't control the heart of any being. I've walked enough roads to know what you're told isn't worth a gram of gold. I've looked in enough eyes of a child to realize that I have three that's my primary responsiblity and that I will not let any human dare take that from me; regardless of where they stand in position to me. I remain answerable to ONE, duty bound to some but never at the expense of what God has left within my hands, within my control. There will come a time I must let go, the results unknown....not in my control. So I trek through life.....duty bound and no more. That's the objective, the goal, the path, my role, and if I'm graced with the opportunity to be a wife that's the stance I take. Until I get HOME, where the "ideal" is mine, I'm gonna keep it real, and know in the end Insha'Allah with His Guidance, I'll be fine!

The epitome of love, for either oneself or others is to sincerely be concerned for your or their hereafter; even to the extent of scarificing oneself in attempts to acheive the best of it.

What's happening to the world that we're livin'
Open prostitution and ain't nobody blinkin'
Worse than a whore
Now it's about keepin' score
I cannot imagine the Creator being Pleased with His Creation
Challenging His every command in the name of 'liberation'
All it is now is just "religion"
When you're "ready" then go be a pigeon
What happened to submission?
How did this all turn upside down, making obedience an option
What was sent as a purification, a guidance for creation
Is no longer viewed as its perfection
Good made to be evil, and evil made to be good
It's like the Dajjal is already upon us, deceiving us, making us a fool
And it's all good 'cause society makes us feel "cool"
It's a deceptive reality
What is, isn't actuality
We're just getting worse
Days are numbered, we're living the last years ...
... I ain't got the words
Let's just open the Quran and contemplate a verse

May Allah bestow is infinite Mercy upon us, may He Forgive us ALL, strengthen us , guide us, protect us, show us the straight way, the way on which He has bestowed His Grace not of whose portion is wrath...... AMEEN.. AMEEN.. AMEEN YA RABI!!

O ' Enemy of Mine

I write to you O'enemy
For I don't want you to have any part of me
So I begin, O'Shaytaan
What have you done now that you spend eternity trying to inflict harm?
Was it too much, you had to give in to your ego?
Was it worth it spending your life's work tryin' to be your own hero?
Really though, look at how you chose to go
Been gifted by He, Graced in a land of eternity
But it wasn't enough, you've given up your serenity
Aimin' in trying to breed animosity
Spreading evil through a society by making good seem an atrocity
And I ask myself, what's become of us?
Entwined within our hearts is jealousy and nafs
"Want for your brother what you want for yourself"
Successful is he saved from his own greed, his own needs
Shaytaan missed this one and its results are thus
Empty in the soul for it's sold to hold the world's gold
Knowing full well though, there isn't anything in comparison to what's been told
The Paradise an unimaginable site, yah I'd hate to miss out on that too
So I get why you do what you feel gotta do
If you gonna be a hate'a you're doing a fine job of it
Spinning whispers of anger, the attention hungry, stolen wealthy; desires plenty
Limitations are upon the believers for this life isn't what's to grieve over
What you're offering Shaytaan, ain't seem much when you actually review the cover
It's like a pretty picture, and nothing else when you turn it over
An image embedded in the mind, a lottery card telling you what you'll win
And if you give in?
You'll keep turning it over 'n over again
To find the same thing, looking, to find nothing, forgetting ...
Tricked into the devils lesson
Class 101, take away the ability to think
By this Shaytaan, you guarantee your win to sink
To the pit of the hell
For the lesson is in the devil's wail........it comes in truth ...
Words of the Almighty, plant our roots -"Woe to he to recites but does not contemplate"
Make it your goal, make it your fate.
O' enemy of mine, you can't touch me for Power belongs entirely to the Almighty
Your mirage is a broken glass
For it's truth remains and falsehood will never last!

Seize It!

Each and every day passes us
End'a time; it's going fast enough
Everyday brings a lesson
The mind needs to question
And so I ask, what am I to learn?
Days are gone, what do I truly yearn?
I find myself in a mix of up and down
Forcing myself to 'hold it down'
And I don't mean I'm trying to clown
But I want it to be a productive life
Not to end in strife
But a 'want' isn't enough to call it an action
Sometimes it's a desire that only holds the conscience's attraction
No more than stalling the mind . . .

Everyday has a lesson
We need to constantly question
Life's works has reason
Seize it to Please Him
